In science this half term we are looking at living things and their habitats. To understand why different living things belong to different habitats, we first need to be able to understand what living things are, what dead things are and which things have never been alive. This is a very tricky skill to master, so don't panic if you don't understand straight away!

Explore the BBC Bitesize link below to learn about things that are alive, dead or never alive.

Now that you know a bit more about how we can spot things that are living, can you make a list of things around your home or in your local area that are living, dead and never alive? You can use the grid below or just a piece of paper!
