On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I would like to welcome you to St Richard’s C.E First School. I hope you find our new website informative whilst also giving you a flavour of the type of activities, successes and values that we achieve within our vibrant, busy school. The learning atmosphere is calm and our high expectations enable the children to display excellent attitudes towards their learning. Our children are hard-working, well-behaved and happy within school. Working alongside our dedicated, professional staff this ensures a successful learning environment for everyone. As a staff, we regularly review the curriculum in order to ensure we provide exciting, stimulating experiences for the children. This involves the academic curriculum but we are also committed to sporting activities, musical opportunities, After School clubs, school events and performances, visitors within school and trips outside of school- both as individual days and residential experiences.
