Each year, the County determines the numbers of children who can be admitted. Our admission limit is 60 pupils i.e. two classes of 30 pupils.
Where there are more applications than places, in a Voluntary Controlled School, children are admitted on the basis of the County's published policy in the following order of priority:
1. Pupils living within the catchment area of the school;
2. Pupils who would still have another brother or sister at school at the time of admission;
3. Pupils who have a special reason for admission. (Such reasons will include medical, physical or social circumstances). Parents are required to produce a medical certificate or other appropriate information and attach this at the time of their application;
4. Pupils who live nearest to the school by the shortest available walking route.
As soon as places are confirmed, we arrange an induction meeting for parents and provide an opportunity for the children to spend time in school. We aim to make starting school a pleasurable experience for all.
Feel free to call into school during the normal school day and we will be able to provide you with Worcestershire County Councils Admissions & Transfers to school booklet, and assist you with the necessary paperwork.
